The original cemetery lists on this web site were created by Isabel Morse Maresh, using as input the information in Lincolnville, As We Remember - Vol.II published by the Lincolnville Historical Society (LHS) in 1977. Building on this effort, in 2001 Doug Warren started the effort to update the information (filling the gap from 1977 to the present), and adding Lincolnville cemeteries and family plots not included in the original effort. This task is ongoing.
The files listed include a few cemeteries in neighboring towns that have multiple Lincolnville people buried in them. In the near future we also plan to include lists of burials out of town and burials (location) unknown.
The files provided here in most cases are in name sequence, and are in Word, Excel, or PDF format. There are some differences in the presentation since the files were created by volunteers using different equipment.

It is the intent of the Lincolnville Historical Society to maintain these records by updating them annually. It is also the intent to eventually put all files in the same format.
The Schoolhouse Museum has printouts of the files on this web site. Anyone wanting files in Lot sequence can get a disk or printout by contacting Doug Warren by e-mail at .
As you can see above, some cemeteries and family plots have been identified, but not yet added to the LHS files. Some are abandoned. In some cases the name or location is in question.
There may be other cemeteries not identified here. Anyone with questions, comments, or suggestions may contact Doug Warren at .
