1900-1910
The population in 1900 is 1,223.
1902: Lincolnville celebrates the Centennial of its incorporation.
1904: The Lincolnville Telephone Company is incorporated in March
with eighteen subscribers listed in its first directory.
1905: David Howe is killed in his sawmill at Ducktrap. The mill closes,
ending all industrial activitiy at the Trap.
1908: 27 charter members of Tranquility Grange build their present
building on Route 52 after fire destroyed two previous buildings within
nine years.

Lincolnville students attend high school in either Camden or Belfast, often boarding in town during the week.
